Kuala Lumpur, Would You Like To Know More?Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - where seeing is believing! Kinda like New York, isn't it? Minus the alien invasions, attack by ridiculously giant reptiles and Armageddon from huge rocks in space. It's a no brainer then as to which destination you'd pick to be your next preferred vacation spot, right? Just kidding. In all seriousness, there's hardly any other city in the world that offers such an array of race, religion and culture. Having a population of over 1.3 million, the Malays, Chinese and Indians form the majority of races among other ethnic groups. All living in a harmonious coexistence and sharing in the celebration of each others festivities. And this ladies and gentlemen is the best part. You won't believe the number of holidays we have in a year! It is all this coming together of so many differences that ultimately makes this place "Truly Asia." Magnificent buildings and infrastructures that makes this place one of the most vibrant cities in Asia. From those of pre-war heritage to the likes of our ultra modern Petronas Twin Towers that is the tallest twin tower in the world. All strategically situated within lush greenery and beautiful parks. This is the Kuala Lumpur that looks to the new but never forgets the old. If you can care less about the people and our vibrant skyline, let us instead tempt you into spending your hard earned money. Come experience a shopping galore that has the most expensive brands in our Golden Triangle to the cheapest wannabes in Chinatown. Not that we are particularly proud about the latter but trust me when i say that your spouse (or spouses), will never know the difference! They say that the way to a man's heart is through his tummy. If you believe that, then wait till you taste what our kitchen cooks up. The variety of food from the culinary traditions of our people is so deliciously prepared, you'd soon realize that there isn't just one finger lickin' food in town. Sorry, Colonel Sanders! Kuala Lumpur or KL for short, is the capital of Malaysia. It is also the central commercial, cultural, administrative, entertainment and transport hub in Malaysia if not South East Asia. The government of Malaysia has been successfully promoting the country and have been doing a wonderful job at it. KL was host to the 1998 Commonwealth Games as well as the Formula 1 World Championships among other international events. Why am i telling you all of this? Well, I would like to share with you in this website not only the things which are spoken loudly about that makes Kuala Lumpur special, but also the things that only a true KL-lite (as we are fondly called) would know. When you do ask a KL-lite common questions like, "what's the best food around?" or "what can we do in KL?", don't be surprised to get an "anything" kind of reply! "How about the best places to stay?" or "interesting places to go?".....you guessed it....."anywhere!" Hahaha....you see, it's not like we are snobbish people or indecisive in anyway. The truth is, there's just so many diversified things to do and places to see that we just cannot give you a straight answer! :) Anyhow, i hope that this little website of mine can assist you plenty on the things you would wanna know about this city. This will be your no-holds-barred to everything that is KL. Unlike the other "touristsy" websites out there, I will give you the good, the bad, the ugly and the beauty that transpires here in Kuala Lumpur, a place i affectionately call....my home.
